NAME: hydrocyanic acid, hydrogen cyanide
FORMULA: HCN
AUTHOR(YEAR): Nagata(1981)
T: 290K
λ: 112.39nm(max)
BIBLIOGRAPHY: T. Nagata, T. Kondow, Y. Ozaki, and K. Kuchitsu, "Absorption spectra of hydrogen cyanide and deuterium cyanide in the 130-80 nm range", Chem. Phys. 57, 45-53 (1981) DOI: 10.1016/0301-0104(81)80019-5
COMMENTS: Absorption measurements at a spectral rsolution of ≈0.3 nm or better using synchrotron radiation as a light source

The absorption coefficient k (atm, 298 K)-1 cm-1 (base e) = 2800 (± 20%) for the absorption maximum, as given explicitely, has been converted to σmax using factor 4.06× 10-20
